We really enjoyed the friendship we had with you and Rex. We have such great memories of the Halloween Parties at your house and the motorcycle rides with you. We are so sorry.- Jim and Barbara Dresslar The entire community has lost a kind and gentle man (despite what could be a gruff exterior) - Rex always fought for what he believed in and for what he thought would make Grand County a better place for all of us. We seldom saw eye-to-eye on the issues, indeed, we were more often than not at opposite ends of the spectrum - and we both knew that. What made Rex a great man to me was the way in which we could disagree - we both wanted what we thought was best for the community. Rex never treated me with anything but respect, even when he was certain that I was wrong about something. I hope I did the same with him. RIP Rex - you did make Grand County a better place and I for one will miss your voice. - Paul Henderson Penny, Thank you for having Rex's service video taped. I was sorry I was not able to attend and felt a little part of me was missing not able to say a last good bye to him and how much I enjoyed knowing him.
