They Live OnThey Live On

   Those we love remain with us
   For love itself lives on;

   Cherished memories never fade
   Because one loved is gone.

   Those we love can never be
   More than a thought apart;

   For as long as there’s a memory,
   They live on within our heart.

OBITUARY

Patsy Sue Phillips, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born on January 9, 1947, in Delta, Colorado, to Forrest and Dorothy Parmenter.

The youngest of seven children, Patsy is survived by her siblings Delbert (Marelyn) Parmenter, Daryl (Alice) Parmenter and Susan (Alton) Parmenter. She leaves behind her three children: Troy (Shelly) Brooks, Penny Brooks and Faron (Heidi) Brooks; as well as eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Eber Phillips and siblings Bill (Barb) Parmenter, Lavona (Guy) Phillips, Joella (Jack) Horton and Alton Parmenter.

Known to those who loved her as a free-spirited, wildflower of a woman. Patsy lived life with an unbridled sense of joy and adventure. A true hippie at heart, she touched the lives of many with her unique, vibrant personality.

A celebration of Patsy’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will come together to honor the incredible women she was.

She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to share tributes online at SpanishValleyMortuary.com or SVMC.US.
